Virna is just one outstanding resource. I recently began working with first-time homebuyers who will be utilizing the FHA mortgage loan to purchase. We are in the $300-$400K price point. I wanted to help educate my clients to some of the concerns the FHA appraiser would have with the property qualifying for FHA financing. Well she quickly created a FHA Standard Checklist and emailed it to me. Much time will be saved when selecting the right homes based off of Virna's checklist. Virna was amazing, she got all of the finical stuff for our house done perfectly. As first time home buyers, I don't think we could've gotten all we did done in a timely manner in the middle of a pandemic without her. Virna will not sleep until you're happy with your home buying experience!
We pointed out several issues in the paperwork regarding fees, and were told that was "Just how it was done", and it would all work out. When I pressed, and pointed out that the numbers clearly did not add up according to their own form, her team essentially said they do this every day and we were stupid. We were right, and they would not admit it. Even if we were not, why dig in your heels and belittle the customer? I do not believe Virna really has anything to do with the loans anymore. We used her many times in the past. It was her "team" that created the issue and her attempts to fix it that left a very sour taste in our mouths. Will not use again. fees issues was only competitive/fixed once we started to bail on the loan and start another. I have avoided leaving a review for almost a year. --If you don't have something nice to say ,say nothing at all-- is my usual modus operandi, but the emails keep spamming up my mailbox so I am finally annoyed enough at not being left alone (as we asked) to leave one. Please leave us alone.

My journey with Virna began when I asked my real estate, who sold me my home eight years ago, whom she would recommend to handle the refinancing of my home as it was the ideal time to take advantage of the historically low interest rates we are currently enjoying and may never see again. I would trust my agent to give me sound advice on a multitude of topics, so when she said Virna was amazing, I took her at her word. She sent me Virna’s info and within minutes she called me. We chatted about my agent, my home (if there were any projects that needed doing and/or if I just wanted to lower my rate), and would I want to take any cash out of my equity. Virna walked me through the whole process, time table (she was right on the $ no pun intended), documents I would need, how long I wanted the mortgage for, etc.. Everything she said was right on target, (rate), etc.. I had friends tell me how daunting home refinancing can be and I thought, “Oh no, root canal time”! That couldn’t have been further from the truth in my case. The process was a breeze! I met with her once, but most everything was done on line. The staff at Envoy were wonderful with a lightning fast response when warranted. The closing, WOW, it was done at my home, at my convenience, need I say more? Awful!!!!! Worst experience I could ever imagine. I would rather go homeless than deal with Verna Brown or Envoy mortgage ever again. Due to her stunning incompetence we nearly lost the home we were trying to buy.
